Maddox Carpentry has provided its wide-ranging skills and expertise on many restoration projects across Kent. We take a very different approach to restoring an old building, rather than working with something new. We particularly enjoy carrying out sympathetic repairs to oak-framed houses and barns, which are never straightforward because literally nothing is straight! No surface is truly upright, flat or very accessible, but that’s part of the challenge.

Restorations make us respect the materials we work with and they give us a deeper appreciation of how important Kent’s old buildings are, not just to our customers, but to their wider communities too.
